THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU ARE HERE

Chapel (as us locals like to call it) is a quaint country town located in High Peak, Derbyshire and has been dubbed the 'Capital of the Peak'.

Our cobbled market square still holds lots of history including our famous market stocks. All around Chapel the streets are linen with friendly businesses and gorgeous food spots including cafes and pubs. Not only is Chapel great for it's supportive local community and independent shops, it also has incredible scenery. From stunning country walks, cycling trails and picnic spots - there's something for everyone. For the more adventurous bunch of us all, Chapel has a spectacular range of rock climbing destinations, including our local beauty spot Castle Naze. Chapel's war memorial park offers a lovely relaxing open space for you and your family to have picnics, take the dog(s) for a walk or even have a little bit of fun on our newly built play equipment. Just outside our shop sits a Gold olympic post box which honours Anthony Kappes who won a gold medal in the London 2012 Paralympic Games: men's track cycling individual sprint event.

Chapel is reachable by both bus and train with the commute line running straight from Manchester Piccadilly to Chapel-en-le-Frith. If you are visiting Chapel, make sure to pop into itsy Bitsy, where you will be met with a warm welcome from all our team. Our boutique is a little Aladdin's cave of beautiful hand selected items and we're sure you'll find something to take back home. Enjoy your stay in the Peak District, we hope to see you soon.
